Google releases a large update of fresh Street View imagery

It appears that Google has just pushed out a major update to Street View, covering areas in many states around the US and many countries around the world.  Thanks to GEB reader ‘Munden’ for being the first to notice it, and for compiling the list below.

While Google hasn’t released an official list of updated areas, there appear to be updates in Brazil, Canada, Chile, China (Hong Kong), Denmark, France, Mexico, Romania, Singapore, UK and the US.  Some specific areas include:
