2013 Top SEO Recommendations and Tricks

2012 was a journey season for SEO and involved more changes than in any other past season. If you were around this season you probably observed terms such as Panda, Penguin, Venice, and more. If you had difficulties this season in SEO it’s a chance to enhance your activity. Although sometimes excellent people get hit, many of the changes Search engines created this season were relevant to avoiding more junk on the web.

With all of these changes it comes a chance to adjust your model and get ready for 2013. Below, I have offered some guidelines, details, and activity products for your 2013 SEO Technique motivated by Dr. Pete’s SEOMOZ publish.

Tip #1 – Do not Depend on Actual Coordinate Core Text

In 2012 it seemed like a smart concept to have all of your inbound hyperlinks factor to your own website with the keyword and key phrase you desired to position for as the anchor-text. Maybe you even designed 1,000 inbound links with the anchor-text Red Gumballs trying to get your Red Gumball’s web page to position for that keyword and key phrase. If you did that, modify it now (Or maybe it was already too late?)

Why?  - Search engines wants you to acquire organic hyperlinks. It does not want you to pay for them or go out and get them because that may be seen as adjustment. One sure way to see if someone is adjusting this is if the anchor-text is the same. Think about it. Unless it’s your product name, if you have 1,000 hyperlinks arriving to your website all attached in Red Gumball’s that is just not organic. If I was going to weblink to your website, I as the website owner may use your Organization Name, illustrative written text, or maybe the terms simply just click here. But since everyone is different, that written text will differ significantly.

Action Product – When you get hyperlinks broaden your anchor-text. If your business name is Shatterbuggy, then create sure a lot of your hyperlinks are attached in versions of that such as Destroy Cart, ShatterBuggy Inc., etc. If you are trying to position for a keyword and key phrase, there are also versions you are probably trying to position for as well. Therefore instead of making a thousand hyperlinks that say “Car Incident Lawyer” to your motor vehicle accident web page, create others such as Automatic Incident Lawyer, Automatic Incident Attorneys, Car Accident Attorneys, etc. If you really want to take this to the next stage then quit pursuing hyperlinks and begin doing some RCS!
