Our business runs on search traffic. We’re looking for a top SEO Manager to own the search engine optimization efforts for our sites, and play a key role in shaping our content strategy.

You will help us craft a strategy to impact our search rankings and achieve our marketing goals. You will be our in-house SEO expert; advising our leaders, and sharing your knowledge with a team of bright optimizers and link builders..

What you'll do:

• Own the search engine optimization effort for our network of sites, and develop a deep understanding of the search behavior of our target users, from query to content to conversion
• Manage and grow a team of SEO managers and link builders
• Apply best practices in on-page optimization, including information architecture, internal linking, copy recommendations, etc.
• Drive our off-page traffic acquisition efforts, including content marketing, link building, and social presence
• Provide keyword recommendations to our content team
• Develop a deep understanding of the search behavior of our target users, from query to content to conversion
• Stay current on search engine news & trends, perform competitive analyses, and translate best practices into concrete, actionable project recommendations
• Monitor progress on KPIs such as search rank, traffic, conversions and revenue to make forecasts, identify trends and make timely course corrections
• Identify new opportunities for campaign expansion and implement your own ideas. Experiment, create and find success.

Essential skills and qualities:

• Exceptional SEO/organic search experience (3+ years), preferably in eCommerce or a conversion-oriented business
• Direct experience using web analytics and SEO management tools
• A knack for digital marketing, strategy, and sharp analytical skills
• Ability to present vision, yet be open to input from others
• Relevant industry certifications or degree are a bonus
• Excellent ability to understand priorities, make the right tradeoffs when necessary, and articulate prioritization decisions to others
